About the Club...

The club started life at The Crown, Badshot Lea in 1987 as 3B's Hampshire RC. Founded by Griz, it was created as a family-based social bike club to get together for rallies & parties, & it still runs the same way today.
Currently the club is headed by Wilf, with Vice President Chris, Area Reps. Alan in Berkshire & Patch in Northamptonshire, & Hils as Club Secretary. We also have a lot of other members who play important roles, such as electrician, mechanic etc.
We spend our time partying & raising money for charity, previously for the Frimley Park Children's Ward, a local hospital which we did a run to once a year to hand over the donations we have collected. In 2002, we managed to collect a total of £1200.
Other causes have included raising funds to buy a specially adapted trike for a little girl who was a victim of the Chernobyl disaster.
We currently support the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust.

Hampshire & Berkshire are also members of The Thames Valley Coalition, a group of local bike clubs & organisations which get together for the purpose of pooling resources & information to help each other..

Hampshire
We currently meet once a fortnight at The Old Ford, North Camp, but often meet up at other times for rallies, BBQs etc. We also hold one main event a year. Our first bike show was a one day event at The Stag, Eashing. From there, we moved to The Mucky Duck (Black Swan), Cobham, progressing to a weekend event. At present, The Only Fools & Bikers Custom & Classic Bike Show is held in June at the Headley Park Hotel, Nr Bordon, Hampshire. In 2004, it was our 10th year of this particular show & we celebrated it in fine style. As well as the usual stuff, we had a children's entertainer & fireworks in the evening. There were 8 categories in the show, which the public vote for, plus a Club choice. There was a cash prize for best in show & trophies for other winners. From several reports we had back by partygoers, a good time was had by all. Another main event we held was in October. Previously we have held 2 Stuff & Puff Rallies, 5 Round Oak Rallies at Padworth Common, Berkshire, the Gone To Pot Rally at Alton, Hampshire & The Gone West Weekend Party at the West Meon Hut, Petersfield, with charity money to go to the Childrens A&E dept. at the Frimley Park Hospital

Berkshire
3Bs Berkshire was originally formed in 2000 by a couple of 3Bs Hampshire members with a view to expanding the club into an area centred on Newbury, since then it has expanded steadily in the surrounding areas of West Berks.

In April 2002 we decided to host our own rally, after much searching a site was located, and the First Last Stand rally went ahead. Initially it was a one day event, but now its an annual full weekend rally with all the usual attractions (Beer etc, check out 100% Biker and BSH as well as our events page for future details.) We currently meet every Tuesday in the Old London Apprentice on Hambridge Rd, Newbury.
